Green Innovation Challenge (GIC) Grant

NOVA is one of six recipients of a Green Innovation Challenge (GIC) grant awarded by the State of California.

This funding will provide training in clean and green industries, including renewable energy generation, hybrid and electric vehicles, and alternative fuels.

The SolarTech Workforce Innovations Collaborative (SWIC) is the collaborative partnership of SolarTech, Foothill-De Anza Community College District, and the NOVA Workforce Board that will expand workforce training programs and meet the needs of employers by providing highly skilled workers for California businesses that are moving toward emerging green economies.
